The following transportation and parking information will assist with your planning for attending the 2010 Arizona Disabilities Expo (AzDX).
The Arizona Disability Expo (AzDX) is being held in Hall G of the south building of the Phoenix Convention Center.
Please Note: The handicap accessible and the main entrances to the south building of the Phoenix Convention Center are located on the west side of the building - accessed via 3rd Street between Washington and Jefferson Street.

Driving to the AzDX?
Downtown/Phoenix Convention Center Area Public Parking Garage:
- Jefferson Garage: '333 E. Jefferson St.' * S.E. Corner of 3rd Street & Jefferson Street (1/4 Block). We have negotiated a special event rate of $5.00 for this parking garage only. To receive this special rate you must print out the coupon at the following link: $5 Parking Coupon for the Jefferson Street Parking Garage (Removed )(PDF) and present it to the garage attendant upon entry. If you do not have this coupon the full garage price is $12.00. This special discounted rate is available only at the Jefferson Street Garage. This is a prepay garage and in and out privledges are okay as long as you have your receipt for re-entry. Entrances are available on 3rd Street and 4th Street. The 4th Street entrance is available for high profile vehicles. Taking Dial-A-Ride to the AzDX?
The Dial-A-Ride address to schedule your ride for the south building of the Phoenix Convention Center is '33 South 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004'. The drop off/pickup turnout is located on the west side of the south building of the Phoenix Convention Center halfway between Washington & Jefferson Streets on 3rd Street. Both the accessible and main entrance into the south building for the Expo are at this location.
Taking the Valley Metro Light Rail To the AzDX?
For Information on the Valley Metro light rail system (routes, fares, times, etc.).
Downtown & Phoenix Convention Center Light Rail Stops:
- If taveling on the east-bound light rail, get off at the stop located between 3rd and 4th Streets on Jefferson Street. The Phoenix Convention Center south Building is directly north - across the street of the light rail stop on the northeast corner of 3rd Street & Jefferson. The entrance to the Expo and Hall G will be on the west side of the building on 3rd Street.
- If traveling on the west-bound light rail, get off at the stop between 2nd & 3rd Street on Washington Street. Head south on 3rd Street and the south Building of the Phoenix Convention Center will be to the east/your left on the southeast corner of 3rd Street & Washington Street. The entrance to the Expo and Hall G will be on the west side of the building on 3rd Street.
The ABIL/DEC Building located at 5025 E. Washington Street in Phoenix (85034) is opening its multi level parking garage to anyone who wishes to park & ride the light rail downtown to the Expo. An all day light rail pass is $3.50, compared with all day parking rates in the garages downtown which are higher.
From the DEC, there are two options for accessing the light rail to the Phoenix Convention Center:

There is a westbound light rail station at 44th St. & Washington. The distance from the DEC to the 44th Street station is approximately ¾ of a mile. The route is reported to be accessible, but involves heavy traffic and crossing busy intersections. Coming back, you would reverse your route and get off the train at the 44th Street & Washington Station and take Washington Street east bound to the DEC.

In front of the DEC (by the sign), board the #1 bus and take it to the Priest & Washington Street light rail station. The #1 bus runs every 45 minutes. Here you can catch the west-bound train. Your bus fare will transfer to the light rail. Coming back, ride the train to the 44th Street Station and catch the east-bound #1 bus at the southwest corner of Washington & 44th Street. Tip: ask the driver to stop at the DEC/Stockyards restaurant stop.
Get off at the light rail stop between 2nd & 3rd Street on Washington Street. Head south on 3rd Street and the south Building of the Phoenix Convention Center will be to the east/your left on the southeast corner of 3rd Street & Washington Street. The entrance to the Expo and Hall G will be on the west side of the building on 3rd Street.
